11/07 Under my usual dA account, I was doing a multiple art project for myself called 100 Themes Challenge. I'm considering doing the same thing for DogsAnonymous, except it'll only be a 10 Themes Challenge rather than 100. And this time, you may also participate in the challenge. As the title suggests, yes I'm back from my Annual Training with the Army Reserve unit (for details on how it went, refer to my DA journal under my original account [link]). AND I'm finally getting the opportunity to visit my distant boyfriend in July. Right now, the song "Long Walks" from Hiroshima is playing in my head.

Well aside from all that, I've lots to do. Lots of projects to catch up on, lots of promises need to be kept ...

I know this is a delayed post after the fact, but the Doggie Daddy A.R. contest is over. Unfortunately, we can't give away any prizes due to not enough entries. But for those who did submit entries, I thank you for your participation. It is very much appreciated, so I will grant you a drawing request of anything you want (dog-related of course). Just send me a note of what you want me to draw and I shall have it.

I decided to extend the Doggie Daddy A.R. contest deadline to July 30th, to allow a couple of deviants to finish up their entries. However, this is the LAST (and I MEAN, the LAST) extension I will do. Once July 30th has come and gone, I won't be accepting any more entries.

Just a couple of things I want to announce. First off, the Doggie Daddy A.R. contest is still going. I have extended the deadline to July 15th, so those of you who haven't submitted anything yet have PLENTY of time to do so. That's right, July 15th is now the official deadline of the contest, which brings me to the second announcement ...

Starting June 27th, I will be in Pennsylvania for my WLC training (Army-related business). I fly out Friday of next week and won't be back until July 12th. Now you know why I extended the contest's deadline three days after. Anyway, wish me luck. I know I'm going to need it. *crosses her fingers*

ATTENTION ALL CLUB MEMBERS!

Remember when invited you to partake in his Doggie Daddy Age Regression challenge? Well, he and I got to talking ... and we decided to turn the challenge into a contest!

The theme remains the same as the challenge (in his own words):

After decades of fans and childhood laughter, Augie Doggie is left forever as a child and Doggie Daddy is worried that when Boomerang pulls the plug on their cartoons he will be alone, so from out of nowhere a fairy appears and Doggie Daddy wishes to be young again just like his son (Augie Doggie) the fairy grants his wish but, he finds out that his collar is getting bigger during the process. when the process is finished Doggie Daddy is now the same age and height (except he a slight bigger than him) as his son and now their together whether Boomerang pulls the plug on them for a previously canned show from CN or not.

Simply put, each one of you must submit a drawing of your interpretation of this scenario, be it a single picture or a comic strip. Just send me a DA note of your contest submittion with the link, and I will post it up in the gallery. Cyberfox and I will be the judges.

Prizes:

Grand Prize: A piece of artwork of your choice from the Print Gallery--Limit is $35.00

Runners Up (2): 1 year deviantART subscription

Welcome to DogsAnonymous, DA fan club for Augie Doggie and anything canine!

Rules to follow:

1) To join the club, send me a DA note and I will add you on the Watch list. In return, you must also add this club to your Watch list.

2) If you'd like to submit any drawings or writing, send me a DA note with a link to your artwork/writing piece and I will post it. Just remember, they must be Anthro canines, be they from a pre-existing cartoon or your own made up character.

3) Because this is a club gallery, it is for viewing and submit artwork only. Do not favorite or comment works under this gallery and that also includes the club ID. Go to the provided links and favorite the works under the original Artists' galleries instead (each piece will have the original Artist and link provided). The only exception is request drawings in which I will post them up and enable comments.

4) Any other questions, just send a note. I will be happy to answer them for you.
